CLIENT PROBLEM
A Tier 1 Global Investment Bank had made a high profile acquisition and needed to quickly move the new client base onto their existing infrastructure within a contractually defined timescale.
MHC APPROACH
Working closely with the Programme Director, MHC set up the governance model and established and managed a pro-active centralised Programme Office. MHC provided subject matter experts for various work streams, including data conversion, stakeholder management, testing and integration.
MHC set-up and manned a 24/7 Control Centre and Incident Management team to manage the dress rehearsals and subsequent migration weekends. Utilising our consultancy toolkit, we created a Control Centre Management system to monitor progress during the migration weekends and provide stakeholders with real time updates. Concise, accurate plans were created and maintained for each work stream with accountabilities clearly defined. This enabled precise monitoring of progress and early warning of potential delays.
Result
Accurate and consistent communications delivered to Project team members, management and stakeholders. The migration was successful with no interruption to service.
